In that case,https://www.theguardian.com/technology/2024/mar/06/openai-elon-musk-emails-chatgpt claimed that OpenAI was set up to operate on a non-profit basis but that Sam Altman and company violated the rules.

Now, in this regard, the response of Open AI has come forward.

In a blog post, OpenAI denied all of Elon Musk's allegations and explained why Tesla's chief executive left the company.

It should be noted that Elon Musk, together with Sam Altman and Greg Brockman, laid the foundation stone of OpenAI in 2015.

But in 2018, Elon Musk announced his departure from OpenAI, saying that AI technology could be more dangerous than nuclear weapons.

According to OpenAI, Elon Musk wants to make his company a part of Tesla or otherwise take full control of the company as chief executive.

The blog post explained that we did not agree with Elon Musk's principles for profit because we felt that giving one person complete control of OpenAI was contrary to our mission.

Elon Musk also said in his case that now this company is working under the largest technology company in the world, Microsoft.

As such, he said that OpenAI violated the basic agreement made by him while establishing the company.

Elon Musk's breach of contract has not yet been made public, and the OpenAI blog did not provide details about it.

OpenAI also defended its decision not to make open source work.

According to the blog post, Elon Musk agreed that the company would not open source work on Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) technology.

OpenAI also released a screenshot of a 2016 email from Elon Musk in which one of the company's co-founders, Ilya Sutskever, said, "Now that we're close to AI, it seems better to This work should not be opened any more".

Elon Musk wrote "yes" in response to that email.

The blog post states that when Elon Musk didn't get the position he wanted at OpenAI, he left the company, deciding to develop AGI technology within Tesla.

Remember that Elon Musk introduced his AI project in 2023.
